Small animals need to eat lots of hay to keep their digestive tracts happy and to help work out their ever-growing back molars. We've found one of the best ways to encourage our chinchillas to eat more hay is to incorporate it into our toys – who doesn't like playing with their food?
Each Hay Cornucopia is made out of a seagrass ‘horn’ and stuffed with plenty of orchard hay! There are also 2 apple twiggies, a bamboo shredder, and a small vine chew (heart, wreath, or star) for an extra treat! Every bit of the Hay Cornucopia is safe to chew!
If you'd like, you can add a 'topping' to your Hay Cornucopia and a few pinches of a chin-safe dried flower or leaf will be mixed in with the hay. Please select from the options on the side bar, or stick to classic hay!
